Bucks County Courier Times: Fire company receives $26,000 grant
Reports the Bucks County Courier Times:
Bristol Fire Co. No. 51 has received a $26,125 grant from the Department of Homeland Security.
Chief Herb Slack said the money will be used to buy and install 1,300 battery-powered carbon monoxide alarms for members of the community who are at greatest risk.
Those are the elderly, families with small children and those with heart and respiratory related health issues, the chief said.
