About Us

The mission of the PSHC is to provide a voice and platform for lawmakers, emergency service organizations, and concerned individuals who want to enhance the safety and security of single- and multi-family homes within the Commonwealth through legislative means.

Our goal is to advocate for the passage of a law in Pennsylvania that will safeguard our communities from the dangers of CO poisoning. Similar measures have already been passed in 21 other states as well as Philadelphia.

Building a strong coalition for this effort is very important.  We are reaching out to the fire services community, first responders, the medical community, children’s advocates, building code officials, among others to form the PSHC.
