WFMZ-TV: Allentown Fire Department receives 100 CO alarms for distribution to the community



On May 25, 2011, the Pennsylvania Safe Homes Coalition gave 100 carbon monoxide alarms to the Allentown Fire Department, for firefighters to distribute to local citizens.At the giveaway, Chief Robert Scheirer discussed the importance of CO safety, and voiced support for Senate Bill 920.

A Monroe County woman is traveling to Harrisburg today to testify about the need for carbon monoxide detectors in homes.
